GENERAL MANAGEMENT

Freedom Picture Company has the experience to provide General Management services for theatrical productions in the UK: either in the West End, on tour, or regional productions wanting to tour and possibly transfer. Our General Management services will ensure that the artistic vision of the creative team is honoured along with meeting financial responsibility to the producer.

CREATIVE CONSULTATION

We are in a position to advise and consult on creative decisions, including suggestions for key creative team appointments, casting, and other artistic decisions.

BUDGETING AND FINANCIAL

Preparation of production, operating and recoupment tables; oversee preparation of accounts, weekly P&L statements and forecasts.

CONTRACTS

We can advise on deals and issue contracts for creative team, including author, director, designers, casting director and actors.

PRESS AND MARKETING

Advise on options for press and marketing representatives, and work closely with producers to plan and supervise campaigns.

GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE

Supervise the weekly running of the production.

DEVELOPMENTAL WORK

The management and planning of readings and workshops.

TOURING

Manage UK tours and transfers, including booking, venue management and production.

Arts Centre, Blandford Forum, Dorset.

Initial concept by Jon Ivay for Freedom Picture Company. We identified a number of site options in and around the town centre of Blandford Forum. We negotiated the land deal and leasehold for the preferred site. We worked alongside the architects to come up with an innovative design using sustainable materials. We saw the project through both outline and detailed planning approval working with both District and Town Councils. We have played a major role in raising finances for the venue and we will organise and project manage the construction process through to the public opening. We will also implement the management team and be responsible for at least the first two years of operation.
